How Does Your Library Measure Up?

“Practical Library Assessment: Applying the ACRL Standards for Libraries in Higher Education” is a conference will utilize presentation, discussion and small group activity to explore how to effectively incorporate the ACRL standards at your library.

  • Join us on September 14th to:
  • Become familiar with the ACRL Standards for Academic Libraries.
  • Learn how to utilize commonly collected information such as statistics for internal and peer comparison of inputs and outputs, as well as user satisfaction and service quality data for evaluating the academic library.
  • Learn how to incorporate performance indicators and outcome assessment measures to assess the impact of your librarians and library on student learning.
  • Begin the evaluation process of your library using forms, worksheets, checklists, and practical examples as guides.
  • Apply the principles and techniques of assessment to your own library's mission and goals
  • Develop a framework for establishing assessment plans for your institution.
